Peter Torbiörnsson
Sweden, Spain 2010 104 min.

LaOn 30 May 1984, a bomb exploded in the middle of a press conference in La Penca, a lost spot in the forest on the border between Nicaragua and Costa Rica. Seven people, three of them journalists, lost their lives in the attack and twenty-two people suffered serious injuries. Weeks earlier, Peter Torbiörnsson, the Swedish radio and television correspondent and a sympathiser of the Sandinista cause, had accepted the proposal to be the travel companion of a supposed Danish photographer, who in reality was a Sandinista spy and the terrorist who would later activate the bomb. Today, twenty-five years later, Peter goes back, retracing his steps to uncover and confront the truth behind the attack. A journey through time amid the emerging lights and shadows of the history of the revolutions and wars that marked an entire generation.
